Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge: To celebrate the upcoming Summer solstice on June 21, 2023, Pokemon Go is hosting a special event featuring rare Pokemons.
The Solstice Horizons event will start on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 10 AM and will run until 8 PM on June 25, 2023. During this time, players will have the chance to take on various challenges and complete Research tasks.
One of the exciting challenges in this event is the Collection Challenge. It gives players the chance to catch Pokemons, and in return, they’ll earn rewards.

Solstice Horizons Collection Challenge
This challenge is divided into two parts – the Daytime (from 8 AM to 8 PM local time) and nighttime (from 8 PM to 8 AM) challenge. Each part has different pokemons that players need to catch for completing the challenge. Here’re the details –
Daytime Challenge Pokemons
- Solrock, Ledyba, Petilil, Purrloin, Drifloon, Sewaddle, Cottonee and Murkrow.
Once you catch all these pokemons, you will receive 2k stardust, a fomantis encounter, and a medal.
Nighttime Challenge Pokemons
- Lunatone, Spinarak, Oddish, Stunky, Misdreavus, Venipede, Foongus, and Phantump.
Aftering catching nighttime challenge pokemons, the rewards that you’ll get are – a medal, 2k stardust and a fomantis encounter.
How to access the Solstice Horizons Collection challenge?
It’s easy –
- Tap the binoculars icon at the bottom right corner.
- Scroll down past the hidden gems task list, the collection challenge menu will appear.
And there you are. Now, you can access whichever collection challenge you want.
