What is Jagananna Suraksha?
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, has introduced a new program called ‘Jagananna Suraksha‘ to address unresolved issues and provide solutions to households across the state. This month-long program will be carried out in all 15,004 village and ward secretariats.
The main objective of ‘Jagananna Suraksha‘ is to ensure that no eligible individual or family is left without the government benefits they are entitled to receive. It aims to reach out to all 1.6 crore households and 5.3 crore people in the next 10 days to identify those who have been left out from previous initiatives.
Chief Minister Reddy emphasized the importance of this program by stating that it will complement existing initiatives. Starting from Saturday, volunteers, along with village and ward secretariat employees, will visit households to gather grievances and necessary documents. They will particularly assist individuals in obtaining birth, income, caste, and other certificates by helping them with the application process.
How to know your Jagananna Suraksha Camp date?
The steps for knowing the camp date of your area are simple –
- Visit the jagananna suraksha dashboard – vswsonline.ap.gov.in by searching for it on any search engine or by clicking on https://vswsonline.ap.gov.in/.
- Click on “know your Jagananna Suraksha Camp Date.”
- Enter your aadhaar card number or secretariate code, municipality and village.
- Tap on the check status option.
Once you do this, you’ll get the scheduled date of the camp.
