This comic starts with Tomioka being summoned to a meeting of the Hashira. The Hashira are the strongest demon slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps, and they are furious with Tomioka for saving Nezuko.
They believe that Nezuko is a threat to humanity, and they feel that Tomioka has betrayed their trust. Hashira decides to punish Tomioka by putting him through a series of increasingly painful challenges.
They start by stinging him with bees, and then they move on to pulling out his fingernails. They eventually force him to eat worms, and Tomioka eventually breaks down and begs for mercy.
The comic ends with Tomioka being left for dead. The Hashira believe that they have finally taught Tomioka a lesson, but Tomioka is determined to redeem himself. He vows to protect Nezuko and to prove to the Hashira that she is not a threat to humanity.
