What Is Tesla Update 2022.8.3?

- Charging
The charging time is accurate as it can often make people in trouble. So, the new update would give accurate charging time based on the battery pack’s temperature. The time varies depending on the type of charger, like a supercharger or any third-party charger.
- Phone Calls
If there is any phone call, the navigation card is not visible. So, Tesla gives the option to hold the phone call card to make the navigation visible. If you click on the phone icon from the status bar, it will open again. So, depending on the navigation, it would help to make a wise decision if you are driving.
- Preconditioning
The vehicle preconditioning is also improved in the coming update. The Tesla app will help load the vehicle based on climate change. The app will be active till 30 minutes after the door opens, and this would help to change the condition of the vehicle to give you comfort.
- Cabin Camera
Tesla has also changed the cabin camera feature where the analytics from the cabin would be shared with Tesla. If the option is enabled and there is any collision or problem in the camera’s functionality, data will be sent to Tesla. This data would further help Tesla develop more safety features that help avoid the collision.
So, to share the data with Tesla, tap controls – > software ->Data sharing – > Allow Cabin Camera Analytics. It works as permission to send data to Tesla to make future improvements.
- Boombox
This feature is currently available only if the car is parked and not driving. However, it would allow drivers to play different sounds in the car, even outside.
- Autopilot
The speed indicator in autopilot mode is still not documented in the Tesla update 2022.8.3 release. But if it is implemented, it would be easy to adjust the vehicle’s speed when it is on autopilot. There would be an arrow to show the change of speed in Cruise control mode, and thus it would make driving safe.
- Language Support
